I LOVE HALLOWEEN!

Seriously.  I know everyone's real favorite holiday is Christmas because of seeing family and all that jazz, but I think my very close second is Halloween.  I start wearing the adorable Halloween bows my mom made us girls on October 1st.  And you know what?  It makes people smile for the whole month.  I remember one year in high school that I wore one every day of the whole month.  (I am not that extreme anymore.)

And do you think living in a hotel over the holidays was gonna cramp my style?  Think again!  I am not sure housekeeping knows what to think of my orange lights all over or my Halloween decals/towels/etc. :) (I couldn't take a good picture--sorry)

I also brought my mom's sewing machine back to California with me so that I can learn how to sew in all my free time.  My first project--Halloween purse!  I mean, just look at that fabric--how could I pass it up?

You are not crazy ... it isn't until the 27th. I am just already excited and terribly bored today. Marcus has been gone all day hunting (just another thing I never thought I would say : ) I still love to shop at Anthropologie so don't right me off as a complete "She Beast" yet! PS that fabric is AWESOME. I especially love the skeletons.

I hear you on the living in the hotel! I lived in a hotel for 6 months in China. Granted, it was a FANCY shmancy hotel, but still. I got so bored!!!!

I used to be energetic and fun like you. I'd break out all the decorations on October 1st. Now, teaching has zapped me dry. I am a total fud at home. All of my energy goes into teaching. I am lame.

Love the purse!

P.S. Since you have free time, do you want to put a cute Halloween background on my blog?? I love this one! You know my log-in info. If you have time, just go and mess around with it.

Love you, Sis!

Hey girl! Is this cutest blog on the block? How dorky is it that we may all three have the same background?! So typical Westover! I'll try to find a different one, but no promises. I know that you love Halloween, but, let's face it sis---I am the ULTIMATE Halloween freak in this family! I am so excited to have a kid to enjoy it with this year!!! xoxo

You got the machine!!! Whoopie!! Sewing galore. Hey, I have a new hobbie plan stewing in my mind. I am hoping to buy a used fancy camera on craigslist after Christmas sometime and take photography lessons in January or February. Want to join me? :)
