Sew and Tell

My sister-in-law hosts a "sew and tell" on her blog every Friday, and I finally have something to contribute. Hooray for sewing my first bag ever and only having to call Amy once. I figured out everything else on my own (admittedly using google a few times). I am pretty proud of myself.

The glorious product:

Outside

Inside

What do you think? I think I will modify the pattern a little next time, but this was a good place to start.

I love it. LOVE it! It is perfection in the form of a Halloween Bag! I am amazed by your rapidly developing skills! But don't get too good or you'll ruin the Grandma Sally book line, "Do you know how to sew? That's ok, neither does your mom." :) Morgan read that book and thought that was the FUNNIEST LINE EVER. She seriously cracked up forever. :)

Wow on the first time sewing project. The pattern looks really fun and virtual quilting lessons and classes ala Youtube and Google are perfectly legitimate! Great job!

LOVE! It's way too cute, and you did a MUCH better job than I did on my first bag LOL!!

Be careful though..Making bags and purses can very quickly become an obsession LOL!

It's great! Love the BOO fabric! I've never made a bag - I know I would immediately become addicted, and my husband says I have too many bags already (impossible, right?). Amazing job for your first project!
